The Wine Center Vinopolis in London organizes a comparative tasting between French and Argentinian Malbec on February 23rd, 2009: "France and Argentina make two very distinct types of Malbec which one
may call the "Old World" and "New World" styles with a direct reference
to tannin and grape ripeness. This event is your chance to taste Malbec
wines from two passionate producers making wines which truly represent
their roots."
Château Lagrezette, from Cahors and Marta's VIneyard, from Mendoza, will be presented that evening by their winemakers. The tasting will be followed by a buffet where the two wines will be served. Useless to say that Cahors Malbec wines fare beautifully with food. It should be a very enjoyable experience!
