For a long time, Malbec was planted in many parts of the world and, especially, in France and was known under many names. The main ones are:

  • Cot
  • Noir de Pressac
  • Auxerrois Noir
  • Cahors
  • Pied Rouge
  • Noir Doux
  • Oeil de Perdrix
  • Saint-Emilion.
