Sharon Bowman at Le Taste Monde

Sharon Bowman writes about wine at SharonWine.Blogspot.com. She was not previously familiar with Cahors or Malbec, and we were interested in her thoughts on the tasting.

We spoke with her at the recent Malbec de Cahor tasting at Le Taste monde Restaurant in Paris. Just after tasting several Cahors wines, and just before lunch, we asked her for her impressions of the wines and a guess about what would be on the menu for lunch.

I really enjoyed Sharon Bowman's comments on the wines of Cahors. The legendary black wine of Cahors that she mentioned was a totally different wine that is no longer produced.
