Valentré Bridge: here it is!

The International Malbec days will take place on the Valentré Bridge in Cahors. The bridge will be celebrating its 700th Anniversary in 2008: his building started in 1308 and was completed in 1378.
The Valentré Bridge is a fortified bridge listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. It is the only 3-arches bridge worldwide. 

For the International Days, the bridge is adorned by red sails, symbolizing the boats that brought the wines of Cahors to the world until the end of the 19th century. Between the sails, there is a cristal-clear wall allowing passers-by, wine tasters and drinkers to enjoy the beautiful view of the river, the vineyards and the countryside.

The winemakerswill receive the press, the trade and the amateurs in their elegant black booths.
