British journalist Peter Homer selected a
few French wines for Valentine's Day presented by Waitrose. One of them is Clos Triguedina 2006, "An intense, smooth, inky red, with damsons and blackberries, from the
Cahors region, in south west France, produced from 20-year-old vines." He suggests to eat it with a roast, or a steak and kidney pie. A nice pairing when duck and truffles are not available!
